News.com is carrying a story about Rural Sourcing, a new firm dedicated to helping big firms looking to outsource, say, product support, to America’s rural areas for about the same amount of money, when you take communications and travel expenses into account, as outsourcing the same operation to India. This could be a huge political win for both corporations and regulators alike. It’ll be interesting to see what happens. (Via Slashdot)
