that nifty first-down line you see on TV works? I did, and today, I looked it up. It’s even more complicated than I thought. Pretty neat.

They probably could have borrowed the bulk of the code from some open-source 3d engine.
At some point they should work on getting the line onto the field so the players can use it. There’d be less math involved too.

Yeah, maybe while they’re at it, they can give Not-so-sexy Rexy a pass line too. Or maybe his arm needs a cheat code. Like up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-B-A-B-B-A and the football flies directly into Muhammad’s arms. That would be cool. = )

up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-B-A-B-A-select-start. God, we’re such geeks.
And yeah, Grossman really blew it. All he had to do was not screw that pass up, cause the rest of the team showed up and played well yesterday. Half the reason we were even close enough to win, had Grossman not screwed up, were those two extremely lucky (and dubious, to be fair) pass interference calls against the Patriots.
To be fair, though, the Patriots are definitely not blameless for Grossman’s less-than-stellar play. They were blitzing and hurrying him all day, and Asante Samuel made some great picks.
Let’s face it. The Bears were simply outclassed, by a Patriots team hindered significantly by injuries.

Found you while trying to find a blogspot template…but I suck and it won’t work.
BUT! I wanted to comment to a fellow Bears fan. Do you remember after 9/11 when it was too expensive to put the fancy line on tv because ad revenue was down?
(praying for the Superbowl!!)
