OK, the second positive thing

you can say is that Devin Hester is, as always, amazing. Jesus, the guy is only in his second NFL season, and he’s already a legend. He is revolutionizing how people think about special teams, and I have no doubt that he will play a big part in the history of the league.

How’d your fantasy team do this week? Looks like LT finally got it going, even if the rest of his team didn’t. Get this. I’m winning my game like 120-58 and Randy Moss and Ben Watson haven’t even played for me yet. I’m a fantasy coaching genius!

Well, I’m not done yet, as I’ve got people on both sides of the NE-Cincinnati battle tonight, but this one is in the bag. The preview said I was favored by 45 points (!), and my opponent (who must, contrary to my own experience, have gotten last draft pick) has the Dolphins D, and two players on the Redskins, who had their bye week this week. Current standings are 72-35, and she’s done, and I’m not.

I can’t figure out why she didn’t put her reserves in for her bye players, but maybe she hasn’t been following the league because her team is so crappy? Her backup D is, get this, SF. The other thing I can’t understand is that she started Chad Pennington over Carson Palmer. Yes, Palmer is going up against the Pats defense, but I gotta think you start him come rain or come shine.

yeah she can’t be following her league. She had reason to believe the fins defense would be good, but they’ve allowed over 30 points each game this season except against the redskins actually-heh. No joy in that victory though when the other person’s not playing.

I agree, there’s no fun if the other person isn’t following the league. But looking over the scoreboards for the first three weeks, I think she has been playing; she’s 2-2 (including this week), her roster has been changing, and she’s made some trades (she dropped Jamal Lewis to pick up Kevin Faulk—that’s even worse than me dropping Marshawn Lynch to get Chester Taylor!). So I do get some joy back. ;)

Okay, her RB trade isn’t quite as bad as mine, as Faulk is a solid 2nd or 3rd stringer, but still.
